NICB assistance was requested by federal law enforcement with an investigation regarding a medical provider and his clinic where multiple complaints were received by a State Board of Chiropractic. Complaints included claiming in various posted videos that citizens should drink a combination of zinc and quinine for the prevention and cure of coronavirus disease. NICB agent recently participated in a meeting with the law enforcement and medical board to review all complaints and concerns and followed up by completing additional research. Subpoenas for medical records have been issued and NICB will assist in the review upon receipt and any interviews that follow.
