Bonnie Alen Brown, 52 of Covington, was arrested in Rome after reports said he attempted to defraud a local insurance company.

Report said that Brown sent a counterfeit invoice to Travels Insurance Company requesting funds for reimbursement for having a 2004 Nissan Maxima being towed.  Brown stated Onsite Towing of Conyers towed the vehicle, however, the business is not active. The invoice was for $187.25.  Brown then allegedly filed the false claim and used the address of 1204 Martha Berry Blvd as her home address.
