Kelly Lantz, 45, of Elkview and Brian Thompson, 42, of Cross Lanes are accused of breaking into the Roane County Telecommunication Center in Amma on Friday where a vehicle was stolen, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.

Investigators were able to quickly locate the vehicle, which was stuck in the mud on an ATV trail, but the occupants allegedly began to flee the area. Troopers said Lantz was eventually taken into custody, but the second person – Thompson – was not found.
