NICB assisted a Member Company and state law enforcement with the investigation of a questionable water damage claim. The investigation indicated the individuals may have obtained an insurance policy after the loss occurred and altered repair invoices to support their claim. Both individuals were charged with Filing a False or Fraudulent Insurance Claim.
