On 10/22/2020, an NICB agent was contacted by investigators with the Indiana law enforcement requesting assistance in their vehicle theft investigation which had begun as a result of a vehicle pursuit of a Ford, F-250 pulling an enclosed trailer. The pursuit ended in an accident and the suspect was eventually taken into custody after fleeing on foot. NICB agent conducted inspections on the truck and trailer confirming their identity and their status as recently being reported as stolen. NICB agent assisted investigators with determining the status of additional vehicles located at the suspects residence in Indianapolis. In total, six reportedly stolen vehicles were recovered as a result of this investigation. The suspect was taken into custody and charged in Marion County related to this incident, as well as an outstanding narcotics related warrant.
