COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A Colleton County man was arrested in connection to the shooting of Alex Murdaugh on September 4 in Hampton County.
Curtis Edward Smith, 61, was arrested by State Law Enforcement Division on charges of assisted suicide, assault and battery, pointing and presenting a firearm, insurance fraud and conspiracy to commit insurance fraud.
