KOMO News reported on Seattle residents, frustrated on waiting for police, who are searching for their own stolen cars. Police urge residents to call 911 if a stolen vehicle is located and unoccupied so officers can check for prints. If you see somebody driving your stolen car, they also recommend calling police, but not following the vehicle. Lastly, police remind citizens who recover the vehicle themselves to call police and report the recovery to avoid being pulled over by an officer who thinks it’s still stolen.
