Local 10 News report the Portland Police Bureau seized 3,000 stolen catalytic converters when they arrested a man believed to be the leader of a crime ring that has trafficked more than 44,000 stolen catalytic converters along the West Coast since 2021. The Portland based ring is believed to be responsible for catalytic converter thefts in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, California, Texas, and New York.
