The NICB received photos of a vehicle that was discovered in a remote location on Department of Natural Resources (DNR) land. After making a possible identification, an NICB agent hiked to the vehicle’s location and positively identified it as an unrecovered stolen vehicle. DNR and local law enforcement were provided with photos and detailed location information in order to facilitate the vehicle’s removal.
