NICB assisted member companies and law enforcement with the investigation of an individual who allegedly falsified documents submitted to support a clam and submitted two claims for the same loss. The individual pled guilty to Forgery of a Commercial Instrument, was sentenced to a three-year deferred prison sentence, community service, and was ordered to pay court costs.
