Midwest Region Agent Received a Certificate of Recognition by an Illinois Police Department
Recently, one of our very own Midwest Agents was recognized by an Illinois Police Department for his breadth of knowledge and expertise in a vehicle identification, which was evident in his immediate response to law enforcement which resulted in the identity of the vehicle and apprehension of the assailant. The Police Department needed assistance and requested our Special Agent to listen to an audio portion and view a ring video footage, which from a distance recorded a suburban drive by shooting. From his observation, he was able to determine the vehicle model. With this information, police investigators were able to identify the alleged perpetrator and charge him with unauthorized discharge of a firearm in a residential area.
