The NICB assisted law enforcement with the identification of a vehicle reported stolen and stopped by officers. After verifying the VIN of the stolen vehicle, the NICB Agent inspected an additional vehicle that appeared to be a reported missing rental vehicle. Both vehicles were recovered. One man was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He has pled guilty in district court and received a two-year prison sentence.
