A Los Angeles chiropractor was sentenced Tuesday to 46 months behind bars for helping defraud a dock workers union benefit plan by billing nearly $5 million in claims for therapy services not rendered or medically unnecessary.
Mahyar David Yadidi, 38, was also ordered to pay $1.9 million in restitution, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
