On July 14th, 2020 a detective with local law enforcement contacted an NICB agent and requested assistance in identifying a Chevrolet truck that Officers believed had an altered VIN and was seized for further inspection. NICB agent advised that the truck was reportedly stolen. The driver of the truck was also allegedly found in possession of two ounces of Heroin and Marijuana and is a documented member of a motorcycle gang. Records indicated the vehicle was stolen in October 2016 and a claim paid out by a member company. The agent then notified the member company of the recovery and location of the vehicle so they could take possession of their asset.
