Law enforcement responded to an address earlier in the day on a shots fired call involving a domestic disturbance. Two convicted felons reportedly resided at the address and additionally owned/operated a large auto storage business on the adjacent property. A search warrant was obtained in furtherance of the firearms investigation, which led investigators to observe two stolen Dodge, Chargers in plain view on the adjacent business property. A second search warrant was obtained to search the business property for additional stolen vehicles. Two NICB agents identified and recovered twenty-two stolen vehicles. Total recovery value of $613,000. The stolen vehicles were found in an array of conditions, from complete vehicles, retagged, stripped, and dismantled. Recoveries included: Dodge, Chargers and Challengers; Ford, F-Series Trucks; Dodge, Ram Trucks; Ford Cargo, E350 and Transit Vans; Assortment of SUVs, Ford F750 Dump Truck, and a Freightliner Box Truck. In total, two individuals have been identified, and arrested related to the initial weapon violations. This investigation continues with our law enforcement partners and additional criminal charges may be forthcoming.
