At the beginning of the year, Ohio law enforcement agencies requested NICB assistance in the investigation of a multi-state organized theft ring targeting high performance / high end vehicles. Stolen Georgia titles were used to obtain Ohio titles, after which the vehicles were sold. The subjects were also involved in the theft of ATVs and off-road motorcycles. NICB aided law enforcement during the execution of multiple search warrants and further identified numerous stolen vehicles. Four subjects were subsequently arrested and indicted by Federal Grand Jury.
