Alabama-Mississippi Insurance Fraud and Vehicle Crime Summit

Birmingham, Alabama

October 03, 2017 - October 03, 2017

The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), along with the Alabama Insurance Coalition (AIC) and the Insurance Coalition of Mississippi (ICM), are jointly hosting an insurance fraud and vehicle crime summit to illustrate the scope of the fraud problems in Alabama and Mississippi, their impact on consumers, and potential solutions. Program will also feature NICB’s Response to Hurricanes Harvey & Irma and NICB’s Geospatial Intelligence Program, which can be used by consumers to view their property in storm-related geographic areas.

There is a need for additional anti-fraud resources, specific legislative remedies, and specialized training to effectively deal with insurance fraud and vehicle crime. At the summit, you will hear elected officials, law enforcement professionals, insurers, prosecutors and others discuss Alabama’s and Mississippi’s insurance fraud and vehicle crime problem and what we can all do, together, to defeat it.
